Daily Bible Verse

The Christian Israelite Church combines both the teachings of the Old Testament (Israelite) and the New Testament (Christian). As particular aspects of the religion are outlined, you will see both these teachings observed.

An outward dedication is for the males not to cut their hair or beard, and the females not to cut their hair.

The children of Israel were instructed in the Nazarite Vow (Numbers 6:2-8). This Vow could be taken for a period, or for life, and some holy men with a special calling, took it for life, eg. Samson (Judges 13:3-5), and John the Baptist (Luke 1:11-17; Leviticus 19:27). Further, the Priests were instructed that they were not to put any marks on their body, nor cut their hair or beard (Leviticus 21:5-7). The Christian Israelite Church teaches that members should seek to be as priests to God (1 Peter 2:9).
